Out by the Swindell Road flea market, Mi Pueblo is one of those Peruvian kitchens you would drive straight past without knowing — Cusco-style artwork on the walls, live music some nights, and a room that fills up with families. The seafood is the reason to come: ceviche clasico, oysters, mussels, ostiones al estilo Jalisco. Beyond that, papa a la huancaina, lomo saltado, tallarin saltado, bistec a lo pobre, chaufa and charcoal-roasted chicken. Regulars call it a genuine find and credit servers who steer you to the right order. Bring cash; card payments carry a fee.
