A Salvadoran kitchen on West Flagler that opens at eight in the morning and runs past midnight, in a room that feels more like somebody's house than a restaurant. Pupusas are the anchor, alongside bistec salvadoreno, flautas salvadorenas, mojarra frita, camarones fritos, milanesa de pollo and a seafood parrillada built for sharing. Portions run generous, prices stay low, and the same families have been eating here since they were teenagers. Service is warm and personal, occasionally unhurried. Some nights there is live music. Cheap, filling and genuinely Salvadoran, which is a rarer combination than it should be.
