MICHELANGELO PIZZA & KITCHEN – Restaurant

An unfussy neighbourhood pizzeria on West Palmetto Park Road in west Boca, open into the early evening and built around the counter. Pies come round or Sicilian, plus a Grandma with fresh mozzarella, garlic, basil and romano, a Bianca with ricotta, and a margherita with sliced fresh tomato. Slices go over the counter all day. The rest of the board runs the expected and does it well: fried calamari, mussels, meatballs with ricotta, garlic rolls, stromboli, chopped and Caesar salads, and hot subs of eggplant or sausage parmesan. No pretence, no fuss, just pizza.
