MICKEY'S CAFE AND ORGANICS – Restaurant

Mickey opened St Petersburg's first organic restaurant downtown in 2005 and has been at it ever since; this Central Avenue room, going since 2014, is the second act. The counter turns out colourful salads and wraps — jerk chicken, curry egg salad, roasted veggie, the Cretan and the Strawberry Fields — alongside house-made soups, fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies and a full espresso bar, plus a South African beer and wine list. The baked goods are made in house, including the Cosmickey cookie people come in specifically for. Monthly wine tastings, all-day happy hour. Healthy without being humourless.
