MILANEZZA – Restaurant

Argentine-Italian on Crandon Boulevard, and the clue is in the name: the milanesa is the house's whole reason for being. Order it napolitana with papas, a la pizza, or under alfredo and spinach; there is prime black angus entrana with a Caesar alongside, garlic shrimp, choripan tapas and empanadas that regulars single out - the ham and cheese in particular, gooey right through. Finish with flan con dulce de leche or a panqueque. Part kitchen, part bar, part market, and reliably full of families. The kind of neighbourhood place islanders keep for themselves.
