A small French bistro on West 4th Avenue in historic downtown Mount Dora, with a patio out front and a dining room that runs on the chef's own hospitality. The kitchen keeps to the classics and does them properly: escargot, cassoulet, beef bourguignon, coq au champagne, saumon dijonnaise, ratatouille and pan bagnat on baguette, mousse au chocolat to finish. There is a French high tea on the calendar too. Guests describe eating at a friend's house rather than a restaurant, and mention the hot baguette almost as often as the food.
