MR DUNDERBAKS – German
Downtown Daytona's German outpost sits at 116 North Beach Street, part restaurant, part beer hall, part delicatessen. The kitchen sends out sausage sampler plates, smoked bratwurst, jaeger schnitzel and schnitzel sandwiches, mini potato pancakes with red cabbage, German potato salad and beer-battered onion rings. The beer list ranges well beyond Bavaria and tastings are a regular fixture. Before you leave, the in-house deli sells German groceries, chocolates and mustards to take home. Visitors reliably single out the sausage plate and the cake. Most nights close at seven, weekends at eight.
