Mazalika is a small deli-style sandwich counter on Derech HaMesila in Binyamina, with shaded picnic tables outside and a fridge of beer behind the counter. The sandwiches are the whole point - built to order, generously filled, with a Reuben of corned beef and sauerkraut among the regulars - alongside desserts and a short drinks list that stretches into the evening. It stays open late on weeknights, closes early Friday and shuts for Shabbat. Locals describe it as unpretentious and better than a town this size has any right to. Sit outside, order the corned beef.
