NATY'S PIZZA – Restaurant

Cuban pizza, done the way Hialeah wants it: a thick, soft, faintly sweet base under a heavy blanket of cheese, sliced and handed over hot. Naty's works a short menu and works it well - pizza de cebolla, jamon, chorizo y aji, the house especial - with garlic rolls on the side and spaghetti that gets more praise than a pizzeria's pasta usually does. The batidos are the other half of the appeal: cookies-and-cream, mamey, mango, thick enough to need a spoon. Open till ten, counter service, no ceremony. Exactly the point.
