Tucked into the Buffalo Ridge plaza on Wedgewood Lane, this is The Villages' New York pizzeria - parking at the door and a room that reminds transplants of the corner place they grew up with. The pies carry borough names: Manhattan Meat Lovers, the Bayside Bianca white pie, the Italian Stallion, or build your own on fresh dough with a sauce people single out. Around them sit fried ravioli, firm well-seasoned meatballs, golden calzones, a stromboli loaded with meats and melted cheese, Philly cheesesteaks and Jones Beach fries. The crunchy-chewy garlic knots are non-negotiable. It reheats beautifully the next day.
