OKEE GRILL – Restaurant

The food counter inside the clubhouse at Okeeheelee Golf Course, open from seven in the morning seven days a week and feeding the county park's golfers, runners and dog-walkers alike. The board is short and unfussy: all-beef Nathan's hot dogs, Italian clubs, Cuban sandwiches, chicken salad wraps, plus a cold case of ready-to-drink cocktails for the back nine. Shaded outdoor seating, a screen for whatever game is on, and a line that moves. Not a destination kitchen - a genuinely useful one.
