OLIVERS – Restaurant
A West Avenue bistro that opens at nine and runs to eleven, with brunch served every day until three. The kitchen plays broad and plays it confidently: fried chicken and waffles under chipotle honey butter, smoked salmon eggs benedict, French onion soup, grilled calamari, lobster ravioli, slow-braised short ribs, a whole branzino roasted crisp-skinned. There is a terrace for the shade and a comfortable room for everything else. Regulars talk about coming back over years, for the value as much as the food. All-day, unhurried, no fuss.
