A Jamaican counter inside the Lincoln Eatery food hall, a block off Lincoln Road, and it punches well above the setting. The braised oxtail is what people come back for - long-cooked, heavily seasoned, sitting on rice and peas that take up everything around them. Jerk chicken and honey jerk salmon hold their own, curry goat and brown stew chicken fill out the board, and the fried festival and sweet plantain are not optional extras. Portions defeat most people. Warm service, no ceremony, food that tastes like someone's kitchen.
