Pizza World – Restaurant
A Fairfax Avenue institution that looks smaller from the pavement than it is inside, with a dining room built for noisy family dinners. Pizza World bakes a good crust and loads it properly, then wanders happily off-piste: mini chimichangas, nachos deluxe and supreme, custom quesadillas, cauliflower poppers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and eggplant parmesan. Kosher and gluten-free options are handled as a matter of course. Parking is a scrum. Diners keep mentioning how friendly the staff are and how much variety there is for a mixed table. Casual, generous, always busy.
