A Carrollwood tapas room from chef Sean Thongsiri, whose Mangosteen and Glass Noodle already told Tampa what he does with Southeast Asian flavours. Plate Tapas Grill & Lounge builds a menu of small plates, yakitori skewers and warm bowls that runs from veggie spring rolls and pork satay to grilled octopus, with cheesy tater tots kept on for the people who want them. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Diners consistently praise the food, the room and the service. A second location is in the works in St Petersburg.
