Pomperdale Famous NY Deli – Restaurant

A Fort Lauderdale counter that has been slicing pastrami and corned beef on East Commercial Boulevard for more than fifty years, Pomperdale calls itself the real deal rather than an imitation of a New York deli, and the meat case backs it up - pastrami and corned beef sold by the pound, with a jar of their own deli mustard thrown in. Beyond the classic sandwiches there is a proper breakfast trade: loaded breakfast burritos, a sirloin patty melt on grilled rye, a griddled breakfast burger. Gluten-free bagels cover the rest. Doors open at 7:30am and close mid-afternoon, so come hungry and come early.
