Pupuseria Alondra runs a restaurant on South Orange Blossom Trail and a food truck out on West Oak Ridge Road, and both trade on the same thing: Salvadoran cooking done the way it is done at home. Pupusas are the reason people come - the cheese ones turn up soft, pillowy and properly full rather than pressed thin. Beyond that there is carne asada, caldo de res and a full typical breakfast. Diners describe it less as a meal than as a straight shot back to El Salvador.
