A family-run Mexican kitchen in central Jerusalem, near Agripas Street, cooking the food the Ascencio family grew up on rather than a Tel Aviv approximation of it. Quesadillas are the headline and the enchiladas verdes have their own following; gluten-free versions are made to order. Everything is dairy kosher under badatz mehadrin supervision, which makes it a genuine rarity in the city. Portions are modest, prices are modest, and the welcome is the part people mention first.
