Simply Pho & Grill is a Carrollwood room on North Dale Mabry run by brothers Anthony and Thai Bao Pham, both born in Vietnam and both clear about why they opened it. The pho special anchors the menu, with bun bo hue for anyone who wants the spicier, funkier bowl, grilled pork rice plates, vermicelli, fresh rolls and stir-fries around it, plus a vegetable pho. The room is clean, casual and comfortable rather than styled, and the service gets described as friendly and attentive more often than anything else. A weeknight Vietnamese dinner done properly.
