SON OF A CHEF – Restaurant

A curbside kitchen parked on Tarpon Springs Road in Odessa, run by a chef who spent years feeding film crews and now cooks comfort food for whoever pulls in. Service comes in two windows a day, midday and again in the early evening, Wednesday through Sunday, and the menu changes with what the kitchen has going. There is no dining room to speak of - you order at the truck and eat at a picnic table or take it home. Regulars describe it as unpretentious, generous and reliably better than the setting suggests. Word of mouth in this stretch of Pasco County does most of the advertising.
