SPICE N VYBE – Restaurant

Afro-Caribbean cooking with the volume turned up, on East Commercial Boulevard. The kitchen's calling card is the wings - the long-running Perry Wings recipe, built on sauces that lean sweet, hot and smoky in turn - alongside a menu that folds island seasoning into American comfort plates. The bar sends out mango passion margaritas and frozen pina coladas, and weekends run late. Diners talk about the sauces first and the atmosphere second, which is fair: the flavor is the whole pitch. Family owned since 2002 and still cooking like it.
