TAQUERIA EL BURRITO – Restaurant

Taqueria El Burrito parks on Combee Road in Lakeland and has built its following almost entirely on price and speed: six tacos for five dollars, with nothing on the menu climbing past six. Tostadas, sopes, tortas and burritos fill out the board. Hours run nine to six Monday through Saturday and nine to three on Sunday - a truck cooking for people on their way somewhere. Customers keep repeating the same three words: cheap, fresh, fast. In a city with plenty of taquerias, that combination is why this one has lasted.
