TIKI CAFE – Restaurant

Breakfast opens at eight and the tiki theme is played entirely straight — bright, unfussy, a short walk from the A1A beach in Indialantic. Mel's Tiki Cafe built its following on Billy's breakfast sandwich, a peanut butter waffle and biscuit sliders, then made poke a second identity: an ahi tuna bowl, the Rainbow with tuna and salmon, and build-your-own with roasted potatoes, spinach, avocado and habanero maple dressing. Gluten-free needs are handled properly rather than grudgingly. Regulars talk about the welcome as much as the food, and it comes up constantly. Best eaten sandy, straight off the beach.
