TIMOTI'S SEAFOOD SHAK – Restaurant

Order at the window on North Third Street, take a picnic table outside, and let the kids loose on the playground while the fryer works. Timoti's builds everything on wild-caught seafood, with shrimp still harvested by the traditional methods that Fernandina Beach helped invent back in 1913. The board runs to lobster rolls, fish baskets, shrimp tacos in several styles, a crab burger, tuna poke, clam chowder and fried green tomatoes, with hush puppies and slaw that hold their own. Diners keep saying the same thing: fresh, fast, fairly priced. A shack in the best sense.
