A Gulf Gate pizzeria that builds everything on a sourdough base, then takes it two directions: an artisan round with a blistered, crackling edge, and a Detroit square that rises tall and stays airy. The MVP pie sets marinara against dueling vodka and pesto sauces; the chicken parmesan has become a sleeper hit, and almost nobody skips the Caesar or the cacio e pepe fries. Scratch bolognese and polenta-crusted wings show where the kitchen's ambitions run. Recommended in the Michelin Guide, with a second Sarasota location on the way. Order one round and one square.
