Cuban home cooking sold by weight, at the end of a West Flagler Street plaza where parking is never the problem. The steam table runs deep: ropa vieja, arroz imperial, masitas de cerdo, roast pork ribs, bistec de pollo encebollado, tamal en cazuela, lentil soup, potato salad, breaded calamari. A ham croissant with café con leche handles the morning; flan handles the end. Portions are cheap and generous, catering goes out constantly, and regulars single out counter staff who go out of their way. Order in person — no phone orders — and eat properly.
