On Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa, a giant ice cream cone stands where a building should be — the Twistee Treat signature since the brand started in Florida. Soft serve is the point: three base flavours and a long premium roster including coconut, black raspberry, mocha, banana and butter pecan. Twirls mix two at the window. Sundaes, shakes and malts, slushies, floats and waffle bowls fill out the board, and no-sugar-added soft serve is available. Prices stay modest and servings do not.
