TWISTEE TREAT – Restaurant

A giant ice-cream-cone building a few blocks off the beach on 3rd Avenue, with a walk-up window and a drive-thru that both stay busy well past dark. Soft serve is the whole point: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry twists plus a long premium list running to pistachio, butter pecan and black raspberry, served in cake, sugar or fancy waffle cones. Twistee banana splits, hot fudge brownie sundaes, cookiewiches and waffle tacos handle the bigger appetites. Regulars say the soft serve comes out creamier than they expect and the line moves fast even in high season. A New Smyrna summer ritual.
