TWISTEE TREAT INC – Restaurant

The Dade City stand does something most Twistee Treats don't: it runs a lunch counter alongside the soft serve. Charbroiled burgers, chili cheese fries, loaded fries and onion rings come out of the same little cone-shaped building on Lock Street that turns out cones, waffle bowls, banana splits, ice cream parfaits and Oreo-and-brownie tornado swirls. Custom milkshakes are a specialty, built to whatever spec you name. Reviews lean hard on two things: owners who are on site and know their customers, and families now on a second and third generation of coming here. Small-town, walk-up, genuinely part of the place.
