UNITED FLAVORS AT PARKVIEW CAFE – Restaurant
The snack window at Palmetto Bay's park, working the afternoons and weekends when the volleyball, soccer, tennis and pickleball courts fill up. Churros come out made to order; there is ice cream, rainbow snow cones and french fries for whoever has just finished running around. It is small, cheerful and priced for families, and the handful of people who bother to write about it are consistently pleased. Not a destination — a very good reason to stay at the park another half hour.
