Inside Aventura Mall, Venchi runs an Italian chocolate and gelato boutique with a history reaching back to Piedmont in 1878. The gelato is churned fresh every day; the case carries Chocoviar, Cremino and Gianduiotto alongside bars, spreads and gift boxes. There are crepes dressed from a hazelnut-chocolate fountain, Italian espresso and hot chocolate for anyone who wants to sit a minute. The sourcing does the talking — Piedmont hazelnuts, Bronte pistachio, Sicilian almonds, certified cocoa, no palm oil. A mid-shopping detour that tends to become the reason for the trip.
