One of DeLand's last genuinely independent breakfast rooms, on Orange Camp Road, with outdoor seating and a crowd that turns up several mornings a week. Muffins come out of the oven all morning — the cinnamon crunch, split and hit on the grill, is the order to copy. Beyond that: eggs Benedict Florentine, the French toast and pancake combo, build-your-own egg plates, omelettes with salsa and provolone, hash browns fried crisp outside and soft in.
