WATERFRONT – Restaurant
Right on the water at the foot of SW Flagler Avenue in downtown Stuart, with a view that does half the work. The kitchen leans coastal and shareable: oysters on the half shell, dynamite scallops, shishito peppers, a cornbread skillet, buffalo cauliflower and a charcuterie board, alongside a lobster roll served over slaw with lemon and butter on the side, a short rib grilled cheese and a crispy chicken sandwich. Oceanside beignets finish. A smoking margarita gets ordered for the theatre of it. Diners single out the service, warm and quick, as often as the setting. Sunset seats go first.
