WATERWAY CAFE – Restaurant

Boats slide past the deck while you eat, which is more or less the whole pitch at Waterway Cafe, a PGA Boulevard fixture built out over the water in Palm Beach Gardens. A recent renovation freshened the room without losing the point of the place. The kitchen leans seafood: pappardelle pescatore and seafood rigatoni, coconut shrimp, conch fritters, fried calamari with cherry peppers, plus a bacon cheeseburger for the unconverted. Diners mention the view first and the attentive floor staff second, and big parties report being folded in without fuss. Come for the water, stay for the calamari.
