The Lakewood Park outpost of Fort Pierce's We Be Poppin, out on Turnpike Feeder Road: gourmet popcorn popped fresh on site, kettle fudge made in-house, cinnamon-glazed nuts, freeze-dried candies and ice cream, with picnic tables outside for anyone who can't wait to get home. It opens at midday and runs into the evening, later on weekends. Friendly, unhurried, and hard to leave with only one bag.
