WILDER – Restaurant

A cocktail bar and small-plates room on East Broward with one of the more ambitious drink programs in Fort Lauderdale, plus a courtyard big enough to swallow a wedding. The menu shares well and travels widely: short rib and Cuban empanadas, sweet corn and cheddar croquettes, crab fried rice, mariscos al forno, spicy miso carbonara, lamb lollipops. Coquito turns up in the glass. Guests come back for the look of the room and for service that is attentive without hovering, though some find the pricing ahead of the plates. Dress up a little; it earns it.
