A family-run wine and beer bar on Montague Street in Westchase, opened by the Essai family on the simple premise that a good bottle is better with company. The list runs local and international, poured by the glass, the flight or the bottle, with craft beer alongside and artisanal small plates to pair. Friday nights bring tastings. There is room to spread out inside and a patio for when the evening cools. Regulars describe an unhurried, neighbourly room where strangers end up talking. Take a bottle home, or stay until closing.
