WINGHOUSE BAR AND GRILL – Restaurant
A Florida sports-bar institution born in the Tampa Bay area in 1994, and the formula has barely moved since: cold beer, televisions on every wall and wings that arrive in a long list of sauces — buffalo, lemon pepper, sweet Thai chili, mango habanero, garlic parmesan. Beyond the wings there are burgers, buffalo chicken sandwiches, sliders, buffalo shrimp, signature nachos and fries in several directions. The brand's hot sauce won its category at the 2007 National Buffalo Wing Festival. Diners consistently describe quick, cheerful service and a room that gets loud on game day. Uncomplicated, and good at it.
