YAS BURGER – Restaurant
A burger counter tucked into a gas station on West 36th Avenue, with a couple of tables and no pretensions whatsoever. Patties are hand-formed and land on a subtly sweet bun that holds up under the toppings, with fries in portions that comfortably feed two. Beyond the cheeseburger there are hot dogs, steak quesadillas, chicken wraps, tacos, queso frito and chicharron. Ten or fifteen minutes for takeout, cash-quick service, prices that stay low. Customers keep saying the same thing: it has no business being this good. Pull in and see.
