YELLOW DOG EATS KITCHEN & BAR – Restaurant

The Canal Street outpost of Yellow Dog Eats, small and easygoing, with a patio where dogs are welcome and the music stays on. Pulled pork is the through-line — the Dog's Famous pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork nachos, soft tacos, and Rufus, which pairs that pork with brie. The kitchen also runs Hokey Poke tacos, seared ahi nachos, Jamaican jerk Kingston tacos, sweet potato tacos and a vegetarian nacho plate that hides carrots and sweet potato to good effect. Portions are big, the patio is tight, nobody minds.
