The Sarasota kitchen in the Yummy House group, on South Tamiami Trail, and the dim sum is the reason to come at lunch — cart service at weekends, a check-off sheet midweek. Har gow, shu mai, steamed rice rolls, pan-fried turnip cake, egg tarts, chicken feet in black bean. At dinner it turns properly Cantonese: Hong Kong roast duck, seafood tofu clay pot, sizzling shrimp in black bean sauce, and the salt-and-pepper mix that made the group's name, tossed through calamari or eggplant. Regulars book days ahead. Worth the planning.
