YUMMY SUSHI – Restaurant

A Japanese room in Bayshore Gardens on 14th Street West, splitting its attention between the sushi bar and the hibachi grill. Specialty rolls are the draw, built with salmon, tuna, shrimp, lobster, eel and conch, alongside nigiri and sashimi; the hibachi plates arrive with mixed vegetables, fried rice, clear soup and salad. Lunch brings bento boxes and sushi-and-sashimi combinations Monday through Saturday. Dessert stays playful — green tea and mochi ice cream, fried Oreos, fried cheesecake. A neighbourhood standby rather than a special-occasion room.
