ZAZA CUBAN COMFORT FOOD – Restaurant

The Altamonte Springs branch of a family-run Central Florida group built on Cuban comfort food and seriously good coffee, running breakfast to dinner seven days. The Zaza Cubano leads the sandwich board — pressed, generous with the cheese — alongside media noche, pan con bistec and ham croquettes. Plates go to vaca frita with sweet plantains, black beans and white rice, and palomilla steak; empanadas and chicharrones cover the in-between. Diners talk about the cafecito and the guava-and-cheese pastry with real affection, and about bread that is soft the whole way through. Come for breakfast, stay through lunch.
