ZOET – Restaurant

Part dessert boutique, part snackbar, part bakery, out on Bermont Road east of Punta Gorda. Chef Jordy Beumer arrives with two decades of Michelin-starred kitchens; baker Sharon Hooijkaas handles custom cakes, cupcakes and cheesecakes. The Dutch accent is the fun part — patatje oorlog, kibbeling, bitterballen, Brussels waffles under homemade caramel — served alongside a Reuben, a turkey bacon club and the Zoet house salad. Homemade ice cream comes in frozen bowls or house waffle cones. Prime rib on Wednesdays, lobster tail on Fridays. Nearly everything, sauces included, is made from scratch.
