100 MONTADITOS – Restaurant
On Main Street in Miami Lakes, 100 Montaditos sets out tables inside and out and hands over a menu built around a hundred small sandwiches, opening at ten every morning and running late on weekends. Crusty rolls arrive with serrano ham and mozzarella, chorizo and manchego, BBQ pulled pork, philly steak. Beside them: croquetas of cod or Ibérico, tortilla española, huevos estrellados, gambas al ajillo, truffle fries with manchego, tablas for the table, and churros or tarta de Santiago at the end. Pitchers of sangría and tinto de verano do the rest. Spain, in small bites, at gentle neighbourhood prices.
