305 PUPUSAS – Restaurant

A Salvadoran family that began at a truck window and now keeps a Southwest Eighth Street griddle running twelve hours a day. The pupusa list is the whole point: revuelta, loroco con queso, chicharron, camarones, even takis con queso for the brave, and then the Pupusa Loca, built out to the diameter of a pizza and offered on rice masa too. Breakfast starts at nine with huevos rancheros and pan con tortilla. Later the soups do the slow work, res and mondongo and mariscos. Tamales de elote, yuca frita con chicharron and horchata fill the gaps. Bring someone to help.
