Thai cooking at the Blue Mountain Beach end of 30A, in a dining room that takes itself seriously: moody colours, black leather banquettes, a generous bar, glass pendants and jellyfish-shaped chandeliers throwing light over gold charger plates. Start with crab beignets, hot enough to steam when split, or chicken satay, steamed dumplings, green papaya salad, duck larb, crying tiger. Then tom yum, pad thai, drunken noodles heavy with fresh basil, curries across the spice range, and diver scallops seared and dropped into red curry. Mango sticky rice on purple forbidden rice closes it. Lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
