Detroit's 313 area code, relocated to Tampa Bay. Chef Michael grew up on Coney Island chili dogs, trained at Le Cordon Bleu, then cooked at Orlando's Rosen Centre and Miami Beach's Fontainebleau before deciding what he wanted to build was a proper chili dog. His first cart opened in 2023. Service runs daily from 11am to 4:30pm: the Jefferson under coney sauce, diced onion and mustard; the Mexican with serrano and pepper jack; the York with sauerkraut and scratch-made onion sauce; the plain Basic; the four-dog Econ. Everything halal, all-beef, natural casing, brioche. Catering too. A humble sandwich, taken seriously.
