Right on Highway 98, a few minutes inland from the 30A beaches, this is the unfussy end of the coast, with smoke doing the heavy lifting. The Seeling family has fed the Emerald Coast across three generations and four decades. Platters of pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked chicken and St. Louis ribs all arrive with two sides; a Dinner Feast for Four covers the whole table. Sandwiches go further: The Big Jon stacks pulled pork on a cheddar burger, the Calvin stuffs brisket into grilled cheese, and a gator sausage po boy nods Gulfward. Closed on Sundays. Plan around it.
