AH LOS PANCHOS TAMALES Y TACOS #2 – Restaurant

Mexican counter cooking in Pace, named for the two things it does best and largely uninterested in anything else. Tamales are steamed to order and unwrapped at the table. Tacos come street-style on soft corn or crisped into shells, and the rest of the board fills out with sopes, huaraches, flautas, tortas, burritos and quesadillas when a handful will not do. The cooking is unfussy and the seasoning is what carries it, which is the whole point. Plates come out fast and generous, and the repeat trade speaks for itself. Straightforward Mexican food, priced for a weeknight, made to order.
